UNDERSTANDING CAR CHASSIS
A vehicle’s chassis is the main structures of a vehicle where all the other components are being assembled to the frame.
Each vehicle’s attribute were being designed to satisfy the requirements of a desired group of end users.
NORMAL PASSENGERS CARS
Being the most out of street vehicles, normal passenger cars were being formed for a few common goals and comfort is one of them. In order to achieve this, a set of street use suspension and soft spring rate will be fitted. While maintaining the level of comfort, the vehicle would be sacrificing its ride handling.
The vehicle tends to increase in body roll especially during emergency stops which contribute more forces to the front, resulting in poor steering response, stopping power and even result in accidents.
The Differences Between Honda Civic EK3 and Honda Civic EK9
To fit different levels of demand in the market, most of the car manufacturer produce car with different specification.Cars with higher specification often come with enhancements on Power, wheel size, brake system, suspension system and also chassis. The diagram above shows the engine bay of Honda Civic EK with two different specifications.On the left hand side is 1.6L single overhead cam engine and the right hand side is 1.6L double over head cams with VTEC engine. Higher specification car will come with enhancement on chassis. In this case, we can spot one of the difference is the existence of the front bar, where the main purpose of this bar is to strengthen the chassis.

The Differences Between Honda Civic FD and Honda Civic FD2R
For Honda Civic, we have different specification on the same model too. The diagram on the left is the Honda Civic FD which is a normal specification, while on the right hand side is the racing specification of Honda Civic.The different is high specification or racing specification car will use a bigger diameter anti-roll bar to enhance the handling. Because of this different, it make a big gap pricing between these two cars.

In Malaysia, Perodua Myvi shared the same chassis with Daihatsu Sirion. But in Japan, Daihatsu Sirion originally comes with rear anti-roll bar.

Toyota Vios
TOYOTA VIOS
Toyota Vios is a 4-door sedan manufactured by one of the Japanese manufacturer, Toyota being introduced in Asia Pacific region in 2002. The name 'Vios' brought the meaning of "to move forward" in Latin.
The first generation was Vios 1.5, codenamed NCP 42 and has 2 type of it. The S version only comes with a four-speed automatic transmission complete with digital speedometer and other electronic instrumental. The E version was available in both 5-speed manual and 4-speed automatic transmissions include conventional meters.
For the first version of the Toyota Vios (NCP 42), Ultra Racing came up with 11 bars in total but 9 bars can be installed in a car at once. A stable steering handling can be improve by installing the front strut : UR-TW2-074 (2-point) or UR-TW4-038 (4-point). Fender bar (UR-FD3-117) is placed at each side of the fender to give extra help in holding the chassis during cornering as it helps to neutralize the shock of impact.Rear strut (UR-RE2-039) has the same function as the front strut and it is place at the rear, in the boot of the car to be exact. Room bar (UR-RO2-091) is installed between the front seat and the back seat of the vehicle which helps to strengthen the chassis from inside but most people do not really prefer to install the bar in their vehicles as they find it a a bit of disturbing as it is at the feet area.
One of the function of the anti roll bars are for smooth cornering as it helps to stabilize the vehicles during sharp cornering. Every car without anti roll bar/s obviously not stable during the cornering as one side of the vehicle will slightly lifted and it helps to increase the life span of the tires as well as the suspensions. The front and rear anti roll bar are made of real solid steel. The UR choose steel than aluminium as the compound is much stronger than aluminium. Front anti roll bar is located at the front lower of the chassis (UR-AR27-408) and the rear anti roll bar is located at the rear of the chassis. Rear anti roll bar for this first generation has two sizes; 16mm (UR-AR16-125) and 19mm (UR-AR19-041) so its either 16mm or 19mm.
Lower arm bars are front lower, rear lower and side lower or side floor bar. Front lower (UR-LA4-141) and rear lower (UR-RL4-212) help to reduce the vehicles bumpiness by holding the chassis at the front and rear lower. Side lower 8-points (UR-SD8-273) bar helps to hold each left and right as well as the front and the rear lower chassis. These bars not only help the driver to drive in comfort and contribute to the safety of the driver and the passengers and obviously the chassis as the vehicle without safety bars, the other part of the body is slightly not in the right position. One of the obvious one is when the technicians want to unlock the screws, they have to pull the body so that the job is a little easier.

The second generation of the Vios (2007-2012) code-named NCP 93 has 14 bars. The part number for the fender bar is UR-FD3-683. Same as the first generation, this model also has 2 option of front strut that are the 2-point ;UR-TW2-402 and TW2-939. As for the rear strut, the model share the same part number with Toyota Yaris 1.5 2007 that is UR-RE2-403 (2-point). The second and the third generation share the same room bar (UR-RO2-637). The thickness of the anti roll bar is 25mm (UR-AR25-311) for the front. There are 2 options for the rear anti roll bar; 16mm (UR-AR16-126) and 19mm (UR-AR19-100). Lower arm bars fro this model are 6 in total. It has 2 different front lower that are the 2-points (UR-LA2-3103A) and 4-points (UR-LA4-404). For the middle lower, the bar that only available is the 2-points (UR-ML2-405) and for the rear lower is UR-RL2-406 (2-point). Last but not least, side lower bar 6-points (UR-SD6-805) and rear torsion bar 2-points (UR-RT2-412).
The production of Toyota Vios from 2013 til 2016 is known as the third generation of Toyota Vios; code-named NCP 150 that has 5-speed and the one with 7-speed CVT-i engine. These two share most of the bars like fender bar (UR-FD3-2532), rear strut (UR-RE2-2531), room bar (UR-RO2-637), 27mm front anti roll bar (UR-AR27-464), 16mm rear anti roll bar (UR-AR16-450). The NCP 150 has 2 variety of front lower; 2-point (UR-LA2-2533) for manual use and 4-point (UR-LA4-404). As for the 7-speed CVT-i engine has only one type of front lower available that is UR-LA4-3750 (4-points). Middle lower bar only available for the NCP 150 but share other bars like rear lower 4-points (UR-RL4-2535 and rear lower side 6-points (UR-RLS6-2536P) as well as rear torsion 2-point (UR-RT2-2537).

Perodua Axia
PERODUA AXIA
Axia, Perodua's tenth model was launched on 15 November 2014 as the success version of Perodua Viva has taken the place of the most affordable car in Malaysia. Even Prime Minister of Malaysia, Najib Razak said himself on August 26th 2013.

Referring to Ultra Racing's safety philosophy, "the bars are individually designed to suit different vehicles" as they manufacture the aftermarket products for this model. Both first and second generation of Perodua Axia only has front anti-roll bar. Ultra Racing came up with 12 bars as the complete set. Some customers prefer to install "first stage" (front strut, rear anti-roll bar and rear lower bar) as for the start. In order to feel the major impact or improvement of the car performance, it is recommended to install full set of the safety bar.
HOW UR SAFETY BARS CAN HELP TO IMPROVE YOUR DRIVING EXPERIENCE?
A complete set of UR safety bars for both model consist of fender, front strut, rear strut, room,front anti-roll bar, rear anti-roll bar, front lower, rear lower, and side lower bar.
Front strut for old Axia is UR-TW2-3082 and UR-TW2-3776 for the new Axia helps to stabilize the steering handling as it is place at the front chassis. It is also helps to strengthen the car's chassis and to minimize the weight transfer of the vehicle body. Both model share the same rear strut 2-point (UR-RE2-3083) has the same functions as the front strut but it is place at the rear section of car (boot).
Both model shares the same part number for fender bar (UR-FD3-3392) 3-point is install at the the right and left side of the car's fender. It gives extra support and strength to chassis during cornering as it helps to maintain the suspension in position. It helps to increase the lifespan of the suspension. Same goes to the rear upper (UR-RU2-3393A) install inside the car at the rear section near the boot. It holds the chassis from inside the chassis. Same goes to the room bar (UR-RO2-3084).
As for the rear anti-roll bar,(UR-AR16-501). This bar really helps in stabilizing the vehicles during cornering. It is install at the rear lower suspension. It helps on making your car flat instead of making it turn on one side. It also helps in increasing the lifespan of the tires as well. So, it is like benefits that comes in pair. Front anti-roll bar (UR-AR23-526) has the same function as the rear anti-roll bar.
Lower arm bars consist of front lower 4-point (UR-LA4-3085~Axia '14, UR-LA4-3777~Axia FL),middle lower (UR-ML2-3086), rear lower 3-point (UR-RL2-3394), 4-point (UR-RL4-3087), rear lower side (UR-RLS4-3088P). Front lower helps to reduce the bumpiness at the front lower chassis, rear lower helps at the rear chassis and middle lower i charge of the middle lower part of the vehicles.

Perodua Myvi
PERODUA MYVI
Perodua Myvi is a B-segment car which is the result of collaboration with Toyota and Daihatsu by Perodua (one of Malaysian manufacturer) since 2005. It has 3 versions : the first generation that are Myvi 1.0 and Myvi 1.3 (2005-2011), Myvi Lagi Best 1.3 and 1.5 (2011-2017), the third generation is the latest Myvi 1.5 (2017-present).
FIRST GENERATION (MYVI 1.0/1.3)
Referring to Ultra Racing's safety philosophy, "the bars are individually designed to suit different vehicles" as they manufacture the aftermarket products for this model. Mostly, old car model (well, not that so old) like first generation of Myvi do not have any original safety bars. Ultra Racing came up with 10 bars for Myvi 1.0 and 1.3 as the complete set. Some customers prefer to install "first stage" (front strut, rear anti-roll bar and rear lower bar).
HOW UR SAFETY BARS CAN HELP TO IMPROVE YOUR DRIVING EXPERIENCE?
A complete set of UR safety bars for Myvi consist of fender, front strut, rear strut, room,front anti-roll bar (only available for Myvi 1.0), rear anti-roll bar, front lower, rear lower, and side lower bar.

As for the rear anti-roll bar, there are 2 sizes available that are 16mm (UR-AR16-406) and 19mm (UR-AR19-407). This bar really helps in stabilizing the vehicles during cornering. It is install at the rear lower suspension. It helps on making your car flat instead of making it turn on one side. It also helps in increasing the lifespan of the tires as well. So, it is like benefits that comes in pair.
Lower arm bars consist of front lower (UR-LA4-143), rear lower 2-point and 3-point (UR-RL2-354 & UR-RL3-3395) as well as side lower 6-point (UR-SD6-294). These lower arm bars help to reduce vehicles floating when it drives through bumpy road.
Feedback given by the owner of the car about the rear anti-roll bar and front strut:
Myvi Lagi Best model is a bit similar to the first generation as it carried the same engine for Myvi Lagi Best 1.3. The new features are the design of bumper and grill that makes the model different from the first generation. This model is equipped with dual airbags and 3-pointer ELR system for the central rear seat belt and some other safety aspects.
HOW UR SAFETY BARS CAN HELP TO IMPROVE YOUR DRIVING EXPERIENCE?
For this model, the front strut bar (UR-TW2-1436) is not same as the first generation because technically its different version of Myvi. The fender bar for this model is UR-FD3-1564. The rear upper bar is also different that is UR-RU2-1559 and for the front lower 4-point that is UR-LA4-1563. This model shares the same rear strut, room,rear anti-roll, rear lower and side lower bar.
THIRD GENERATION (MYVI 1.5 2017)
The third generation model is the latest model of Perodua Myvi that Perodua introduces to the market. This model is the Perodua's version of Daihatsu Sirion to be exact. It has the Advance Safety Assist (A.S.A) that consist of Pre Collision Warning (PCW), Pre Collision Braking (PCB), Front Departure Alert (FDA) and Padel Misoperation Control as well as other safety aspects.
HOW UR SAFETY BARS CAN HELP TO IMPROVE YOUR DRIVING EXPERIENCE?
The new Myvi bars are not so much available like the first and second generation Myvi. There are only 4 bars available that are front strut bar (UR-TW2-3846) which could helps in stabilizing the vehicle's steering handling. The second one is the rear anti-roll bar (UR-AR19-606) that could help in improving a stable cornering as well as increase the lifespan of the tyres. The third one is the front lower 4-point (UR-LA4-3847) that play the role of decreasing the bumpiness of the vehicles when the driver drive through an uneven surface road. The fourth bar is middle lower 4-point (UR-ML4-3848). The rest of the bars are not available yet as this model is just being introduced to the market.
